About Sotol

Dasylirion plants grow in the northern desert of Mexico, where master sotoleros have been developing the tradition of sotol for eight centuries: eight hundred years of being the protagonist of nights, rituals, and legends.

The practice of sotol, was born in Chihuahua, where it became essential in the celebrations
of the Tarahumara or Rarámuris. With the adoption of the distillation process, a new custom emerged: one in which the starry nights of the Mexican desert, dark and silent, were filled with voices that inhabit the wind and narrate the mystical tradition of this beverage.

It's not Agave, it's SOTOL.
